Frequently Asked Questions

HOW DID YOU BECOME A PHOTOGRAPHER?

I was gifted my first camera when I was 10. A Pentax 35mm film camera. My friends and pets were my subjects, they had no choice. After leaving school I studied Graphic Design. One of my subjects was photography. It was old school. We had a dark room that we used to develop our photos and even made our own pinhole cameras. I pursued Graphic Design and offered product photography as a service. In 2016 I did a refresher photography course through the Photography Institute and made the move to wedding and lifestyle photography, not looking back …

WHERE ARE YOU BASED?

Currently based in East Cork, not far from the beach. I live in a country house with my husband and two kids. We love living out amongst the sheep, donkeys and hedges. I love people, but I also love the quiet and the fresh salty air. Collecting sea glass is one of my favourite pastimes.

WHAT MAKES YOU DIFFERENT?

A blend of personal, artistic vision, and technical skill often defined by an ability to evoke emotion, tell a story, and find beauty in the unconventional. A distinct style arises from consistent, deliberate, and authentic choices—such as lighting, composition, or subject matter—that reflect my personal perspective rather than just following trends.

WHAT’S YOUR STYLE?

A philosophy of simply using what's there with minimal directing. Capturing real moments. Your wedding day is more than just a collection of posed pictures. It's friends and family laughing, crying, gasping, dancing, romancing, celebrating and sharing small and big, unforgettable moments together.

WHAT TO EXPECT ONCE WE'VE BOOKED YOU?

On booking with me, your date is secure, I do not outsource work unless it is completely unavoidable, which up until now I have been lucky not to have to do. I am dedicated to you and your day, I treat it as though it’s my own and only give my best. In the months leading up to your day I’ll be quiet but always available to answer questions or talk through ideas. Three weeks before your day I’ll send a short questionnaire to fill in. It will cover details so we can discuss and finalise the timeline and order of events. After which I draw up a schedule for us to work from. On the day, I arrive a little before time and settle in to capture all your big and small details.

HOW LONG BEFORE I GET MY PHOTOS?

A week after your day your will receive a link to some sneak peeks, usually around 50 photos. Then depending on the time of year and how busy I am, it would take between 8 - 12 weeks for the final posted package.
